The most common type,male pattern baldness,is an inherited trait.

BTW-Most men who go bald begin losing hair to a noticeable degree while still in their twenties,and many women suffer from baldness too.

I have no idea. I would like to find out so I can lose mine. I shaved my head one time but it started growing out the next day.

normally they do not lose it. It just migrates to other parts of the body like the back and ears

It's all hormonal - guys gobs of testosterone -- when that gets out of wack (often just an age thing) then those hair follicles just start turning loose!
