I try to burn a DVD, I put in a DVD - R cd, and the dvd burning program says put a DVD - R in the drive even though I already did. I waited 1 hour, and it was the same message. I tried burning a DVD in other programs, but those programs didn't work, too. What's wrong? Do I have to install something?

Sometimes if you use cheap brands the burner will not recognise the disc, also check your preferences in your burning programme to make sure that you have this type of disc selected to be able to be burnt to. Also if you have taken an im bomb while in a chat room it could possible disable your burning programme, as this happened to me recently.
