They got textbooks for like a dollar. Are they for real? If you need convincing, just visit the website and type "American Mosaic Rico" in the search thing. This book cost like 60 bucks at my school and they got it for a dollar. WTF?

I have purchased many books through abebooks and have never had a problem.

The thing you should probably be cautious about is what edition are you buying? If the prof is requiring the third edition, no matter how inexpensive it is, buying an older edition probably wouldn't do you much good. That may explain why the price is so inexpensive--sellers usually do their homework and they know newer editions exist.

If you do find out it is the second edition that's inexpensively for sale and your prof requires the third (for example) you might ask the professor if it would be a problem to work from an older edition. In some courses it might not be. . . just find out before you buy.
