It seems like many people who don't like him act as if they don't like the person that he is. I don't know for sure, but maybe he's not like his character. How can someone hate on someone without truly knowing them? I agree, his character on WWE television sticks and he can't wrestle his way out of an open plastic bag but still..you can't just bash the person himself if you don't really him!

It's like if Jim Carey plays the bad guy in a film I may hate the character but I'll still think of Jim Carey as one of my fav. actors

Anyone that says they ate the person are too stupid to even be on here, because none of us know him in real life. If we met him in an autograph signing or something doesn't count he still has to remain in Character. Only people that know him are friends and family. I don;t like the gimmick, but I can't hate Cena for it, because he is just a puppet, it's WWE we should really be mad at since they are pulling the strings

I think they are jealous of someone else's accomplishments and they hate themselves. Probably cause John Cena is everything that they will never be. He had to do something right to make it to the top of the WWE and it wasen't a mistake that he got there. HE IS THERE FOR A REASON!

I could say the same about these female fans who say they wanna marry him,how can you love someone you don't know,HONESTLY I hate his character and I don't like him as a person mainly because he's being such a ***** over his contract,wrestlers have a right to agree or disagree to ANY storyline,in other words he doesn't haveta do what he's doing now,but he does he SERIOUSLY dosen't care about his fans anymore either ever since he's gotten the title!
So in conclusion I hate the character and I don't like the man either!

i hate his character. not him. because i don't know him. so i can't hate him. i know how his character is. so i hate his character.
it's not all his fault his character is like that. it's those "fans" who like the way his character is and the wwe writers. they do what the "money" says. and "money" says that cena brings a lot of ratings and green.
his character and his GIMMICK.

They hate both and the person is just like hes character and i think that all the haters suck!! they don't deserve anything john didn't do anything to them they just hatin cuz he is a hotty with style unlike those posers who are trying to act all cool by sayin he stinks!! I mainly bash Cena's Character. If his wrestling style is derived from his character, I bash his character even more. If he just wrestles like that, I bash him.

I like cena. hes really funny! i do agree that hes not the best wrestler, though, and the whole rap thing is getting old too. he needs a new gimmick to match his humor.
