You should really know that it affects the entire human race, animals, and future generations, not just whomever is here today. Have you noticed how many more natural disasters there are these days? Also, humanity might be gone in, what, several hundreds of thousands of years later if we stop global warming? If we don't have a heart and care, then we'll be gone in half a century.

When I said, "We will eventually die..."
Correction: The human race will be gone a lot faster if we don't help stop it."
It is NOT just a politcal scare. PRESIDENT BUSH DOESN'T CARE!Yes, there are ups and downs in the weather, but pollution, fossils fuels, excessive carbon dioxide in the air. That's natural? Because that's what's causing the temperature to go up.

Thank you for being so aware and caring about these things which affect all of us. The world as we know it is changing daily due to man's reckless and irresponsible influence. I checked your profile and your words and advice is true, right on target, and if all would follow there'd be a noticeable difference in our world.

I'm 56 years of age. Never in my life have I seen such weather, such severe and extreme weather patterns, such extreme weather, such violent weather, such hot summers and hot for longer than normal.

That's where I pull my observation. Did any of you live back in the 50's? Then how do you compare the weather back then and over the decades to what's currently happening?
Thanks. GOD bless.

I read your profile. The suggestions are great! I try to do all of them. However, even respected environmentalists admit that the movie to which you refer is overstated and inaccurate at times. Oscar doesn't check facts before it awards a trophy. We should all do our part to conserve energy for our grandchildren and such...but, the sky is not falling, Mother Nature is far greater the the human species, and our actions now in the scale of time are paltry.

Still, good and worthy ideas, just if you really want to gain a bigger following, don't mention a divisive figure.

Get serious. Global Warming is a politcal scare. It's the same song and dance that they tried to pull back in the '70 when they said that the New Ice Age was on it's way.
Go do some basic research on planetary ecology and you'll see that the cooling and warming is ALL normal.

Oh thats sooo cuuute! The best thing about it is that it will allow you to feel like you ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING without actually inconveniencing yourself too much.

IF you REALLY believe that the earth is dying, wouldn't you start advocating more extreme measures to curb greenhouse gasses? Methane from cows produces more than autos... Nuke energy produces none, but you aren't advocating more reactors (France has hundreds built since 1970 but the US has built 0).

This is like my 3 year old saving his pennies to give to the poor - its a nice sentiment, but not really serious.

Wake up - the global warming farce is yet another big business/big givernment shakedown. Lots of grants and spending for guilt ridden Libs.

I'm from congress and I don't think we should replace nuclear power plants with wind energy, because if we do millions of coal workers will lose their job.
