I had a brown discharge and spotting.
This happened 20 days after my period that lasted for 3 days. I have either 29 day cycle or a 39 day cycle.
Any ideas on what this could be to put me out of my misery???

(am trying to conceive).

I would see your OBGYN, or just call and ask about it (sometimes it takes a couple weeks to get in to a clinic)! Brown discharge is usually older lining that didn't shed. Never be afraid to ask your doc for help.

might be the sign off pregnancy you can sometimes get spotting when the implantation occurs so maybe take a test or wait for your missed period
if that's not the case then i wouldn't worry spotting can sometimes just occur randomly in a cycle

well it is old blood..it could be a sign that you are pregnant or that you are about to start your period..or that you could have an etopic pregnancy..or that you are going to miscarry..I've had brown spotting with all of those...so go see your dr and find out what it is..

sometimes spotting just happens. Nothing to worry about unless it has a strong odor!

Women who are pregnant can still have a period; it's just, you know, unusual. Just a thought.
