It means that you had sex before march 15th. A pregnancy test will not show up positive after two days. If you didn't sleep with her prior to that, then sorry buddy your not the daddy.

LOL, are you SURE your the only guy? She was already pregnant hun. When ovulation occurs (about 14 days after the first day of a woman's period) conception can occur but a pregnancy test will not show up positive right away. The reason is that it takes a few days for the baby to implant in the uterus and then the hormone hcg is produced. Even early pregnancy tests will not detect a pregnancy until a couple days before a woman expects her period and definitely not 2 days after intercourse. She's lying to you. Bet on it. She was already pregnant. Go with her to the doctor and find out how far along she is. I would also recommend a paternity test when the baby is born to make sure it's yours. I'd have my doubts though....

A pregnancy test will not show a positive two days after conception. The hormone HcG isn't even being made yet. Chances are she was already pregnant. Sometimes women still get a period while they're pregnant. Have her see a doctor for blood work. They'll be able to give you a better estimate of how far along she is. Best of luck.

It means you're going to be a daddy!
As others said, false positives are basically unheard of. The home tests detect the pregnancy hormone in her urine. She wouldn't have tested positive if the pregnancy hormone was not there.
Wait a minute - you say you are the only guy she is sleeping with. Do you mean you two were already sleeping together, or March 15 was the first time? Because if March 15 was the first time you slept with her, you can't be daddy.

She had to be pregnant before the 15th. This is how it works.... If you count your first day of bleeding (not last) as day 1 of the cycle.... Most women are fertile the 13th, 14th and 15th day of their cycle. However, that is only if they have a 28-30 day cycle. If her period ended the tenth, it must have started around the 3rd that would mean that she was a day short of ovulation or just ovulating.... NO PREGNANCY TEST OTHER THEN BLOOD could come up positive if that's when she got pregnant. Get in your phone book and find a planned pregnancy center or health dept. They will give you free sex education, condoms and other resources. Best wishes!

If the test came positive, she must be pregnant because it tests for a hormone that is only produced during pregnancy.
However, she did not get pregnant two days before the test was positive. You can't get a positive reading on the home tests until about two weeks after you conceived. So, you need to look further back than that to find conception date. Her midwife will estimate the conception date by last menstrual period. Here are a list of other signs if you are still not convinced http://www.birthingnaturally.net/trimester/first/signs.html
Good Luck and Congratulations.

That mean that she was already pregnant before you two had intercourse. You cannot find out you are pregnant that fast that's only 5 days after extremely too soon, A women won't have a positive pregnancy test until 5 days before her next period or most women a couple of days or weeks after her next missed period. You do the math...

It means you got pregnant before that experience. A pregnancy test would not give you a accurate answer until after a missed period. But I will add that there is more false negatives then a false positive. If I were you...I would go to the doctors and get blood work to know for sure....good luck!

You can have a negative test and still be pregnate but you can almost never have a positive test and not be. It is rare but it could of showed up that early. Normal is 5 days after missed period. There is also a chance that she could of already been pregnate when she had sex with you last time.
If she is pregnate then they will give her a due date and you can see if it seems to match up with when you have been with her but remember they can be off on those so your best option is probably to sit down and talk to her.
cagirl12… thats not necessarily true when a condom breaks or you don't use one you might be worried and would rush into taking a test that early. Doesn't mean that she is necessarily triny to decieve the man

If you are SURE you're the only one, most likely the 'period' was actually implantation bleeding, and she has been pregnant for a while now.
Home pregnancy tests RARELY give a false positive, so I would take another test, then head to the doctor's office. Good luck!

This more than likely means, she is indeed pregnant. That she was pregnant, before now though. It takes longer than 2 days to get pregnant, it actually takes weeks. So the bleeding she had wasnt her period. Which happens to women all the time. So its not a big deal yet. Tell her to go to the nearest health department, and get tested. You rarely get false positives, only false negatives are common. Hope this helps some.
