Hey, I have just sketched a classic WW2 German soldier, and i really would like to make a 3 Dimention(3-D) model of it on the computer with a special program, but i know of none. I basically want to make everything, like the weapon, gear etc. and colour everything in. Like make a 3-D sketch of it, or something close to that. Is there such a program that I can do it? Im sure there are some...it would be very helpful if someone could tell me of a program, and where i might get the download from...I really appreciat it!!!

I use strata 3d pro
you can see their website at www.strata.com
they have just relessed a new version. 5.1 cx
you need to be fairly good to produce figures on your own
but you can inport figures and alter them in a program called "poser" made by Curious Labs, Inc.

Strata also have a program called photo 3d. this programme enables you to use photographs of a figure and map them to create a texture that can be viewed in 3d

Blender is the favorite with my teens. It is free and very powerful. You can download it from their website. There is even a full length animated movie created with it exclusively. The movie is called "Elephant Dream". You can watch the movie on the net by going to the movie webpage. Just use a search engine, you will find it. Good luck and happy rendering.
