Water World charges 4.50 admission plus 0.75 for each ride. The cost at Wet world is 2.60 admission plus 1.25 per ride.
What number of rides is the total cost at both parks the same?

Make a table, use the equation

Water World- 4.50+.75n=C

Wet World: 2.60+1.25n=C

closest I got was 15 rides for wet world = 57.75
and 11 for Water World=57.75

Answer 2

4.50 * .75
then....
2.60 * 1.25
then....
guess and check until you find when the two numbers are the same.
