This is a military wife speaking and I don't like war either, but from my learning is that, we are trying to maintain order in Iraq and Afghanistan. We need both countries to have control over there own countries before we can pull out. If we were to pull out our troops , both countries would still be runned by terrorist plus our soldiers that have died will die in vain if this does happen. We are trying to defeat terriorism because it is a threat not only to the United States but to the rest of the world. I hope that helps a little. Also, please pray for my husband who is in Afghanistan right now.

The war we are currently in is a personal war between the Bush family and al-quiada. Simply put Bush is using our wonderful but misguided american soldiers as pawns
