Go to Peta2.com and watch some videos or something. You can also get some recipes there. *warning-videos are SAD*

oh, and there are plenty of meat subsitutes,MorningStar for example, so it wouldn't be like your giving up your whole diet. And, you can't taste the difference.

Don't let people tell you humans are "meant to eat meat" we actually started out w/ very little meat in our diets. Yes, there was still meat, but not as much as we consume today.
Also, entire societys have lived by being Vegetarians. Buddists and Hindus for example.

Also, the antibodies and growth hormones used, very unhealthy.

You should only do it if you really want to - whatever the reason may be.

It's not a natural state for humans - I THINK we're omnivores. Vegetarians have to go out of their way to eat things that provide a balanced meal. Omnivores who stick to the basic food groups don't have to work that hard.

I sometimes get a little icked out thinking about the fact that that steak was once a cow, and looking at how much a cornish hen resembles a live chicken....that's the only reason I would do it.

If you can't think of any good reasons yourself, than don't become a vegetarian.

you're colon will thank you.... As no doctor has ever witness a healthy colon.

It also improves your quality of life... and you easily cut out junk food (As well as maintain your weight)

You do have to take your suppliments, some herbs (e.g st. Johns worth) and work out.

I do eat sea food every now and then though :)

i am a vegetarian. i guess i do it because i don't like the fact that i'm eating innocent animals, and because i like to be different. but other than that, i don't know why i'm one

Because colon cancer can be very unpleasant, from what I hear. And if that isn't reason enough for you, then you're not ready for the change.

Don't do it.

Meat rocks.

But I suppose a good reason would be it's healthier.
