how can make my brain match a drum pattern..beat.?

it seems my brain speeds up the beat when i try to synchrinize them how can i match the beat to a song or mines more without going too fast..

listen to the song very closely...

use headphones if you like, I tried and it helped a lot.

If you can watch the drummer from the song, then watch him play, so you can match the beat with his movements.

and just let yourself go, practice a lot, and don't be too conscious, especially during the first couple of times.
