stevie g is the best england player there is. if paul schole was there england would have won in the first half. should have put on michael carrick for that killer passing.

Steven Gerrard was easily Man of the Match tonight but why oh why oh why do you then have to put it down to him playing for a certain club or coming from a certain town? If Rooney scores the winner in a World Cup game will the Super Scouse have won it then?
There are some of us who hate half the players playing for England when they are at their club sides but when they play with the 3 lions on their shirt they are playing and representing ENGLAND not their club.

Sorry to say this but the reason why we won today it is because lampard wasn't playing i used to like the him he never plays for England the way he plays for Chelsea and when you have that negativity it spreads through out the team. Hopefully Gerrards goals has put a bit of passion in the squad and now take it to the next game.

Cut Steven Gerrard in two and you will find Liverpool. Do the same to Roony and you will find thug. If Roony wasnt kicking a bag of wind across a field he would be in jail.
