Its ok, there is so much yet unknown about the human mind - and dreams do come under psychology as well as paranormal.
Anyway, I wouldn't worry if I were you. I think it's a neat little feature that you are very much in touch with your inner self, and mind. This is an advantage to you, as you seem to take the time to understand them. =)
On another note, it is also important to consider that what we dream is usually influenced by our daily lives. Our brain attempts to sort information, we usually see these as dreams. (The brain remains active during our sleep). At times, it CAN be a coincidence that some come true (or even elements of it come true), but on the other hand - if you've got full dreams with exact details coming true... consider yourself with a gift for premonitions - at least personal ones.
I'll recommend taking out some time to check out: http://www.dreammoods.com This is a website which can act as a dictionary to help you interpret dreams if you wish. It also has a lot of information about dreams, why we dream, types of dreams... and a lot more. =)

Yes it does happen. I had a dream about having a girl 5 years ago when I was pregnant. In the dream a little girl looked at me saying mommy, and I said it was truly a gift. I did have a girl during that pregnancy, mind you that I had 4 pregnancies before that, all boys.

dreams are the way your brain files away information - the things that come true are the way your dream filed existing thoughts. No so unique as it is a logical income. Many dreams are multi thouhts that are being acted upon at the same time. Dreams can be in color - have sound - and you can interact with them, depending on your depth of sleep. Enjoy them

that's happens to me all the time.
the last time.
My home caught fire so i ate at a Chinese buffet most every day,I love crab legs.one night i remember dreaming of a large frozen salmon fish sliding out of a metal container, the next day they added Salmon to the buffet
I have a theory that when your in delta level of sleep, that's were we can see the future.
there's alpha ,the dream state .
then theta where the brain tells the body when how and where to heal it self .
and delta .where they don't know why we have that level of sleep, its just a theory but i believe its true.that this is where we see the future, most don't remember though.
i have seen many future happenings while dreaming,my mother did that all the time
sweet dreams.

Jessica, it's time to start a journal! No joke! Write these things down. It's like learning another language. it can't be done if you just listen, you need to focus intently on what's there. It may be nothing but coincidence, but something tells me it's not. Please don't freak out! And don't tell it from the mountain tops either. People like you get looked at kind of freakishly and nothing hurts more than someone you care for rolling their eyes at you. Work on it by yourself. If it is a certainty that you are getting images of events then start researching this at your local library. This will put you on the right path.

Some people believe that time is fixed from past to present to future only in our body's functioning and in perceptions that are related to our biological functions.
So if something is more spiritually important, like finding love, rather than biologically important, like finding lunch, then time is less important. In my experiences, these dreams add more symbolic emphasis to the important moments of my life. People who are very clear- seeing or are in a more spiritual phase of life (like you being in love) can see through the veil of time to a different kind of truth.

This thing! It is called "De ja vu". It is good for you. You can dream what is going in the future. We dream of our recent happenings which have made an impression on our minds. Marriage makes an impression in our lives. This is for this reason.

I think it's precognition, you are just "remembering" things that haven't happened yet. Most people only remember things in one direction, the past, but a few remember both ways.
