my sister was walking to the shop and she came across these lads who were pointing and laughing at her was it because she was having a bad hair day or because of her skin colour
im not going to judge these lads unless i know why they were laughing

Not being one of the lads I couldnt tell you exactly why they were laughing. Maybe one of them has a crush on your sister. Maybe it was a bad hair day. Could be a million reasons. i think the least likely is her colour. its not normal to laugh at only someones colour, there are so many different races around today people are used to seeing other colours of skin.

I don't think anyone here will be able to answer that. Whatever their motive it was very rude and unpleasant of these lads to laugh at your sister. I know how hard it is to suffer racism daily in today's society and understand she probably feels sensitive. The only way to deal with this sort of thing is to think, how ignorant, and try to let it go. If she lets it fester it will only eat away at her self confidence. Just tell her to ignore them and try not to let it get her down.

Absolutely nothing to do with your sisters hair or skin colour , it was because they are nerds and just wanted to make her feel uncomfortable.

im sure your sister is a stunner and has the ability to make people laugh......whatever the reason
