Is there a way to identify the baby's real father during pregnancy?

I am 19 weeks pregnant. I have had multiple partners. I know there are ways to find out the baby's real father after the birth of the baby by DNA testing. But is there a way to identify the baby's real father during pregnancy?

No, unless you were only having sex with ONE person at ovulation time. Even that is best guess. You'll have to wait until the baby is born and ask ALL potential fathers to submit to a dna test (which they can refuse). I hope your sense of judgement improves when this baby is born. How are you going to explain this to your child when he/she is older and wants to know who the daddy is? Hopefully you have been tested for AIDS and all the other diseases out there. Being promiscuous increases the odds of you contacting STD's tenfold. I really hope you grow up now and start behaving like a mother and not a w*hore.

Amnio or cvs are the only two ways, and they both carry risks and for there would be a much higher cost for the dna testing, its much cheaper to do after birth. I know this for a fact as I am going to have to have DNA testing myself. I am still legally married but have been in the process of a divorce for over a year, though there is no doubt to the paternity of this child, I have to prove to the state that it does not belong to my ex because in thier eyes, legally its his which is ridiculous as I havent even been with him in probably going on two years!

I just read all the comments above and I am really sorry that some people have to be so judgemental, please just ignore them, they act as if they have never made a mistake in their lives! Pregnant women have enough stress without nasty rude comments when you are just looking for help.

P.S. Ive opted to wait until after its born, I dont want to risk injury to my baby.

Does it matter? You'll really find out who your friends are now.

Use these next few months to buy yourself some time...don't expect a guy to give you money just because he got one past the goalie. Go see planned parethood, speak to a close pal and someone like an aunt who has been there and done that. Find out what your rights are and start planning your next steps for 6months, 1 year and 2 years.

I only hope your baby is healthy and if you decide your unable to care for him/her, pls consider placing it in an adoptive family.

The way to identify the babies father while pregnant is to know who you got pregnant by. Wait til its born and get DNA however if all the men you slept with were white except one was black and the baby comes out black you know the answer

I believe you could have an amniocentesis done and they can do a DNA test from that....I think. But with the amnio, you would run a slight risk of losing the baby...best thing to do, ask your doctor.
