my son is ALWAYS bumping his head on EVERYTHING he likes to try and stand and well he is only 10mnths so he falls all the time and bumps his head. so he always has these red marks or a bruise! All I do is hold him to calm him down and give him some momma love and put a washcloth on his head or where ever he gets the marks... they are just bumps it's go away. plus its going to happen alot more!! you just need to be worried if he lands on tile and splits his head open or somethin. but other then that babies are gonna fall and get bumps and bruises! he'll be fine!! hope that helped take care hun!

use a bag of frozen veg etc to help take the swelling down, dont let the baby go to sleep for a few hours as a knock to the head can be serious sometimes.keep an eye on the baby for any sign of discomfort or pain etc if this happens go to a and e or ring your out of hours gp.xx

As a mother of a boy and a girl. Arnica cream (if skin not broken) will help with bruising and ice to help the swelling.

Ice pack (make sure it's not direct, in a towel or washcloth).

We love Arnica Montana for bumps and bruises. It works quite well.

You should have put ice on it when it first happened. If it has been awhile ice may help some.
