you mess up your words like when your talking and instead of saying love you, y-ove l-ou? I havent never messed up on love you, but sometimes when im tryin to say something i switch the first letter of 2 words.

Yes, it is a spoonerism. Named for a teacher and clergyman named Spooner (earlier 20th century) who had a tendency to do this a lot.

Webster's New Collegiate gives as their example, "sons of toil " for "tons of soil".

I do it a lot with couple names. When speaking of a friends named Bill and Hilda, I often call them "Hill and Bilda"............

Usually somebody picks it up, but often it just goes right by everyone!
