Get out and walk walk walk....the gravity will pull the babys head down into the pelvic which will stimulate your labour contractions

Good Luck and Congrats!!

Unfortunately giving birth can be very unpredicable, Sounds like you are diffenately gtting there but 40 weeks is said to be the ideal length of a pregnancy and often with a first (u did not say) it will go over date.

I wish you the best for the future, and that your wait will not be to long. My first was born on the day she had been due from when my first exam was done and the hospital had arranged for me to go in the next week as even they cannot tell when a baby will be born..

Ooh yes, very soon I expect. I had a show *during* labour with both my boys...the first I was about 7cms dilated, and the second 2cms dilated...so you could well be about to go into labour...if you're not in very very early labour already!!

About three days leading up to my labour with my second son, I was getting awfully painful cramps...but as people always said to me (and I hated it), believe me, you'll know being all knowledge when you're actually getting true contractions!!

Good luck, and sending you big breaths and as much gas and air as you can stomach!!

maybe...maybe not. One thing is for sure, it'll be in the next month. Seriously, you can go a week after a show without going into labour but mostly it happens within days. Pains need to be regular and (I know everyone says this) you WILL know when you are in labour, pains will be regular and get stronger. Good luck

Ya never really know, with my daughter it took 2 weeks after loosing mine before I gave birth, but with my son it was just a matter of just a few hours..
The best thing to do is WALK, WALK, WALK to help speed thing up, but you are getting very close to the finish line now so good luck and congratulations !!

the show has blood in it. If you had a show and cramps you could be in labor already. I ignored the cramps, then they got really bad and it turned out i was fully dialated by the time i got to hospital. It was my first baby at 38 weeks. Good luck and congratulations!

Sounds like it - this phase could last a while (12 hours for me), but when the cramps get stronger and closer together - well, you know what to do! Good luck!

sounds like you are in the early stages of labour just try and relax have a warm bath and really try and get some sleep if you can as it could be many hours before true labour begins good luck.
