It hasn't been working for the last 25 years .
Not since the corporations became so powerful and have taken over our country.
We need a President and Congress that will take it back , for the American People or we'll have to take it back ourselves .
No I'm not happy about it .

I think it's a lost cause. We need to just poopcan the whole federal mess and let all the states become independant countries again. Or maybe a confederation, but the federal government has become a real cluster---- and is worse than no government at all.
I see no hope for us anymore. Just a long slide down a slippery slope into an abyss of anarchy and chaos.

How do you mean "working"? We are getting deepr in debt and social security fiurther in teh hole by the second, meanwhile in teh senate they are arguing if insect damage for Neveda farmers belongs in the Iraq Afghanistan bill. The Coburn (R-OK) ammendment tos trip 100 million of our taxpayer dollars that was attached to said bill, for the 2008 rep and dem conventions, was defeated 51 to 45. yes, our government is working, just not for us average citizen/taxpayers. Since they jail whoever Mexico wants imprisoned, I think our government is working for Mexico, china, and Saudi Arabia, and Halliburton, and anyone else who paid big money for their senators and congressman to add such pork, and then they hide behind a smokescreen like 8 stupid lawyers being fired.

Yes, No, Yes, Yes. And I hope our newly elected Dem congress seizes the chance and offers legislation on issues that affect common people. They voted to go back to working a 5 day week, the republicans were really grinding those 3 day weeks.

I all depends on what your definition of work is.
yes, no, yes because I choose to be happy, Hell no It's the liberals who are trying to steel our county away from us. The byass media and lies the Democrats dream up it is sickening The Democrat have not helped you what have they done? all they what to do is discredit Bush.
The ones how run it are not working at all but playing politics.
The system works properly if leaders the "servants" are working hard and for the people. The problem is we have people in positions who want to keep their power so they make decisions to keep their own status of power and could care less of the ones who they are to be serving.

i think of there are human beings in the government with sturdy intentions. the line to hell is paved with such. I additionally think of there are human beings in the government who purely care approximately their very own time table. regrettably, in a familiar experience, i've got self belief that each and absolutely everyone the Republicans and Democrats fairly care approximately is preserving their ability base. I additionally think of, regrettably, that we, as a united states, have painted ourselves into one among those nook that makes it very complicated for every person different than a member of the bipartisan empire to make any headway in our government. We created this. confident. that does no longer imply we created something sturdy. i've got self belief we are working extra for our government and its hobbies now than it fairly is for us and that i do no longer think of that exchange into ever the purpose. I agree concerning the bickering between events. yet i think of its purely bickering between the smaller gamers, i think of the pinnacle of the Donkey/Elephant Empire are in mattress mutually particularly fortuitously. till this variations i won't be in a position to have confidence that my government is working for something different than my government. this does not imply that I by no capacity make the main of it, even though it does recommend that that is not any longer the ideal concern.

Yes, our government is working...very hard to hurt the citizens of the United States and is promoting the subversion of our laws and our constitution with George W. Bush at the head of the pack -- guest worker rewards for illegal immigrants -- illegal immigrants working at our airports inspecting our baggage and working in our ports and on our military bases and at our hospitals and in other security type positions. How is that not treason? How is he not eligible for a legal trial and ultimately the firing squad as the legal punishment upon conviction of treason? 623,000 illegal immigrant fugitives, with God only knows what motives, roaming the country free to commit acts of terrorism, vote illegally, or do all manner of evil against American Citizens. Elvira Arellano and others like her are holed up in store-front (and probably sham) churches claiming sanctuary, free to continue her subversive activities and her son is keeping to the vow of the children to vote and work for the wishes of their parents (ju8st like the little girl who vowed to follow in her mother's footsteps as a suicide bomber) Saul Arellano is not a true American Citizen. He is a subversive just like his mother and should have his citizenship taken away. Remember, children learn what they live and if they learn how to circumvent our laws and cheat the system and send their money out of the country to subsidize Mexico and the coyotes and the drug lords, why shouldn't they have to prove their loyalty to the USA before they can become citizens? How many other children are practicing subversive activities against US Citizens? At their meetings, we have heard them vow to get rid of the old people and to take the country for Mexico. Our government has turned a deaf ear and a blind eye to the alliances formed between North Korea, China, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba and other countries to continue to ship their soldiers (posing as civilians) into the USA. Approximately 100 Haitians landed on US soil today. And what is our Government going to do? Probably turn them loose, too!
It's time for American Citizens to take action and demand law-enforcement and curtailment of illegal immigration and severely punish those who hire, harbor and help them.
Why shouldn't our prisoners work in our fields instead of illegal immigrants? What makes one criminal more deserving than another?
