i asked a question on here about ghosts as i have had some strange things happening in the house im in ive been here 3 mths things have been happening but without an explanation i got really rude answers,i am skeptic and not seen one althogh some things cant have an answer for.x

I have seen a ghost in my own home. She was wearing a very old style of dress and looked like a peasent or farm girl in standing. I was on the stairs ans she walked past me as if goind from our sitting room to the kitchen. Her feet were below the level of our floor and she walked into the wall under the stairs. Now this is the strange part. Our hose is only 24 years old and we are the only family to have ever lived here as dad built the house. The house is raise 6 foot off the road level and built on solid rock. The land was one the garden of a cottage that still stands and that is on street level. My dad tells me that even our garden was built up as all the material that was dug out from under the house was used to level the garden. We can't work out how this little girl could have walked at the level she did unless there had once been a barn where our house was and she was in the loft.


I've also felt spirets since I was 4, some I can identify and others I can't but they are all friendly and seem to protect me so I just leave them alone.

I have seen many. They will not hurt you, they are lost or looking for answeres just as you or I.
Often they apear to try to tell you something. Sometimes the figure is someone you know or knew. (I have seen quite a few who I did not know had died that appear in the half dreaming state just as I have been waking up, only to find out they died a few hours earlier.
Often it is not a figure you see it is just a feeling, (it is hard to describe, but something like warm milk on a breakfast cereal or a cuddly pet type feeling)
Sometimes you will be feeling very depressed over something or someone.....if you are open/receptive you will feel a compfortable warmth - like a hug then the answer to your problem will come, it could be a disceased relative or friend that is momentarily trying to help you.

Then there can be images of a person walking towads you when you are doing something such as....ironing, study, first waking thought, brushing your teeth or on the loo.....none of the things you see will harm you as they often apear to help you.
Often you do not realise you have an illness or proplem yet they try to warn you and help.

The answer is that you can never TRY to see a ghost!

It is all a part of our wonderful thing called a 'brain', are they real or do we have a special sense that society and belief chrush?

Most people have lost the 6th sense by around age 4 but some can carry it throughout thier lives if responsive.

For example.....driving to a junction or roundabout you hesitate and seconds later a bus or lorry has carrered out of control in front of you.....had you not hesitated you would not be alive!! Lots of things happen like this. Could it be a guarian angel????

The term 'ghost' is very general. There are several types of phenomena that might be called a 'ghost'. One is a 'haunting', where you experience a memory of an event in the past. This may be something you see, hear, feel, smell or even taste. There is no interaction with the haunting - more like watching a video if it's visual. Another is an 'apparition'. This is interactive and is very rare. Sensitive individuals can, in very few cases interact with apparitions, and describe what they are telling them and in even fewer instances enable conversations with them. Again, very rare phenomena.
Some people consider a 'poltergeist' phenomena a 'ghost' as well. They are usually created by someone living in a specific emotional state.

As to your actual question, yes, I have experienced all of the above over a period of decades.

It depends as to what you believe a ghost to look like.
I lived in a brand new house which was great when we first moved in, but after a couple of weeks things began to get very wierd, and there was definitely an entity there, it wasn't very nice either. Both my son and daughter and I could feel the presence there and we were very frightened to go from the kitchen/ dining room through to the garage, and anywhere from that door to the fourth stair from the hall.
When we sat in the dining room part having a meal sometimes( only in the daytime), both my daughter and I saw a dark figure walk round the veranda from the back door, and round past the kitchen window. Once or twice we went to see who it was when we first saw it, but when we got outside there was no one there.

I did research on where the house was built, and even looked at old maps of the area, but other than a caravan park years before there had been nothing built on that piece of land before. We thought it may have been something to do with an old Napoleonic Naval Hospital that was fairly nearby, which was now a pub. But I have since discovered that the house was built on ley lines where the ley lines came to a point. Some say that has strange effects on properties.

Hi Amada, Ive not seen a ghost but my partners best mate does a lot of Tarrot cards and supposed to be very good at it, this woman has something about her, i don't know of one single person who dislikes her, now heres the strange bit every time i take a photo of her theres always lot of orbs flying around her.

Well, yes, several times.
They are all around, but if you are in the right frame of mind i.e relaxed and are open to the truth around you then you glimpse them. Usually something has happened to trigger sightings.

There is a spirit of a man in my workplace. He used to live there. He has phases of walking past the door to one of the rooms and moving a few things around the place. It happens over a few weeks and then nothing for a couple of years.
Strange but true.

Yes honestly I have the house I lived in used to be really haunted although the ghost didnt look like they do in the movies it was more a black shadow. like a humane sillowet They do exsisit I belive they are lost souls you speak to people that have played games with them and experienced things they def exsist but I dont belive they can hurt you unless your scared of them I used to just tell them Im not scared go away and they would for a day or so but then return just pray for them that they go away and rest in peace good luck I know the feeling and it can be reall scary. :)

yes i have.walking back home from a friends about two in the morning,and no drink.i passed a gentleman dressed in bowler hat,suit,tie and umbrella going the opposite way.as i passed him,i immediately turned around,as you would at that time of the morning to see what he was up to.needless to say,he had completely dissapeared.i cant explain that one at all.i usually have an answer for eveything.
