Worst Wrestlemania Ever?

The card looks awful, no speciality/gimmick matches at all, the ecw match isnt even extreme rules, noo harfcore match like last year or no holds barred, no tag team titles defended, no intercontinental title defended, silly pointless matches which had no build up whatsoever such as Kane vs Great Khali which is a stupid match, along with the MVP benoit match, no buildup to it at all, the only match that i will enjoy will be the money in the bank, that wont dissapoint for sure.

what are ure thoughts?

I agree they could put like Hell in a cell or TLC.Money in the Bank is the best match this year.

They're basically banking everything on the Trump/Lashley vs. Umaga/McMahon match. Bringing back Steve Austin is always a plus, but you're right though...outside of the Money in the Bank match, there's nothing to catches my eye. But I don't this will be the worst Wrestlemania ever. Maybe the one of the Wrestlemanias during the WWF's dark period (early to mid 90s) would qualify.

Side note, IMO, Wrestlemania 6 (Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior) was the best ever, followed by Wrestlemania 14 that featured Mike Tyson as a ref in a match between Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels/DX

I totally agree. They dont build up story lines and get all of the titles involved like they used to. I just watched a dvd of Wrestlemania 8 last night when the warrior came back to help Hogan from papa shango and Sid and THAT was a wrestlemania. Great matches and great build up to matches. They certainly don't do Wrestlemania like they used to. I feel bad for the new fans now who think that this years Wrestlemania is like what they have always been.

Same as yours man. If Cena retains, I'm going to be pissed. off. A lot. The Originals are slated to lose and cut off, Melina (talented) loses to ashley (untalented) Kane's gonna take some time off, so I believe the overgrown ape is going to pick up the victory, MVP is actually going to beat the best in the business, and Lashley makes a monkey out of umaga (no pun intended) I would love to see orton steal the show, and Taker defending his streak and becoming the WHC. Out of 5 stars, I rate this PPV a 2. If Cena wins, a 1.

Actually the Money In The Bank match is no DQ obviously. One thing I don't understand leading up to WM is why Cena and Michaels didn't lose their tag titles. It doesn't sound that bad to me, I'd like to see Kane VS Great Khali.

Keyword there is CARD, the card looks like crap, but I can't say it's the worse until after the PPV, the WWE may suprise us and have a few classic matches....doubt it. On paper this is the worse Wrestlemania ever, so i am hoping something big happens, because this is not worth my money.

I have been I true wrestling fan for many years! I have been to or seen every WM. I will not spend $50.00 for this crap! This is the saddest WM that I can remember. WM1 was a bad card, but remember what it was. I really can't think of any match that I really want to see.
Before all you little kids start crying about HBK and Cena! Niether one of them can carry that card!

I aggree with you This Wrestlemania will suck. Its got cena vs HBK which means if cena wins we riot. Undertaker will beat batista. Ashley will lose to melina. Kane will win. Benoit will win. ok the MITB will be the best match. This wrestlemania sucks

This Wrestlemania does plae in comparision to last years. The Battle of the Billionaires thing is just plain retarded. No buildup on the matches you listed and the Tag Team Champs are fighting each other? WTF? They should had lost that title ages ago.
