Depends on your lineup. Can you afford to surrender 51 SB? Tejada hits for a better ave....can your roster give up 20 or 30 points in BA? Power numbers are closer than people think ,Tejada hit 24 HR and Ramirez hit 17 so power numbers are too close to care. Do you have enough RBI producers? There is a big difference between the RBI of these 2....Tejada had 100...Ramirez had 59. Ramirez will score 20 to 25 more runs (last year he scores 119 to Tejadas 99). They each are easily better than the other in different categories so you need to evaluate your roster and decide which players numbers would be more beneficial to your team. If you need a run producer make the deal....if you need SB and runs scored then dont make the deal. They are very comparable players (that is why they are ranked nearly identical) it really is a matter of what your team needs are as to which guy is a better fit for you.

Yes-but it's a very even trade. Hanely will have MORE steals and more RUNS. Tejada will jack more HR's and more RBI. Hanley is young while Tejada is proven. Hanley though is an up and coming star. I have Hanley, but I like players with track records.

Tejada is the guy you want here. He plays every day, year after year. Ramirez is a young gun, and has only showed his stuff for a year. It would be difficult for him to duplicate last season; perhaps a sophomore jinx? This seems pretty easy for me to decide. Do you go with a proven veteran or a second year hot shot? I like the vet.

Yes, Tejada is a proven player while Ramirez probably was a flash in the pan

Oh yeah. Your gaining TJ for Ramirez. TJ is the 3rd best SS in the league. and should have a great year. Now Ramirez doesnt even have a good line up and only has one good year.
The TJ deal is awsome for you take it.
