That sounds like a Salvador Dali. Goggle him I have his Mae West & his Traingles with a women's face.

Could one have a link to said picture? ... guess not. But one would expect a surrealist, modern perhaps, but ... try the works of Magritte for a start (if the painting is near-realist).
