what year is stargate sg-1 in and is it coming back next year?

Stargate SG-1 is currently in their tenth season in the United States. In Canada, this season is finished. Sci-Fi channel didn not buy another season, so unless the producers decided to switch to another channel again, like they did a few years back, it will end. They are however releasing to movies based on SG-1 directly to DVD this fall called "The Ark of Truth" and "Continuum".
