Anything is an upgrade over theismann...Jaws is a great analyst, but i hope he doesnt go overboard with his analysis. He's into that kinda thing (making a science out of a simple hand motion from the QB)...It could get annoying, but he's still a good sports analyst and will offer a much better insight to plays and the players.

Joe Theismann was/is one of the most annoying commentators ever.I couldn't stand too listen to him.He always stated the obvious and was biased about what team he wanted too win.John Madden was almost as bad,his slurring words and his analysis a 2 year old could follow and his tips to winning a game i.e-the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win,was like duh!!!Dennis Miller was like the absolute worst. He didn't even talk about football, they would be doing play by play and he would be talking about Spirro Agnew,he was stupid. So Jaws couldn't be much worse considering his predacessors.

Jaws in the booth is a significant upgrade. I think he understand the game a little better then Theismann and he can provide a little better analysis. In retrospect, anyone is better then Dennis Miller...

I think Theisman is a better guy for the job. Jaws is to technical and worries to much about the X's and O' of the game. I like Theisman's approach better. HE explains the game to where you don't need to know how every play is designed and how it should be ran compaired to how the team just ran the play.

Maybe? I liked Theisman.
woops...that was someone else in benchwarmers.
Jaworski does know his football.

Not in my opinion. Not only did they have fairly parallel careers but they are both loud and opinionated.
