Philadelphia is the place to be for the fourth of July. We have many free things going on, You will enjoy fireworks and music at Penn's landing on the waterfront, The Summer Mummers parade, Check out Betsy Ross house, The Philadelphia Zoo, Independence Mall/ Libert Bell, Franklin Institute, Musuem of Natural History and The Philadelphia Art Museum....Another Must see is the Camden, NJ- Adventure Aquarium. Expect Crowds...But enjoy the best Philly has to offer...Eat a cheese Steak from Pat's or Gino's in south Philly, Enjoy a soft Pretzel or tasty cakes....Enjoy!

Philadelphia, it's the Cradle of Liberty! Like the person above me said, it's the best choice because there is SO much to do and see!!! The city goes all-out for the 4th. Here's a website of events for you:

and

Save NYC for New Year's, it's insane...

Have fun!

Philly really goes all out for July 4th - there are plenty of well organized free and low-cost events. There are fireworks every night and plenty of parades (including a Salsa-dancing "Fiesta on the Parkway") in addition to events at the historic sites. Keep an eye on this website: http://www.americasbirthday.com/ It will be updated soon (after April 6th) with 2007 events.

OR

Check out the events listed in this recent press release for a sneak peak at what they have planned:

Enjoy!
