Maria M,
sorry you got hurt at work, you should be collecting 'worker comp' if not call the state labor agency. get the ball rolling.
you didn't say how much you hurt it .
now may be the time to change your career course. read 'what colour is your parachute' and '48days to work you love' there is a lot of good info in both books to help you.
as for your bills the only important ones are food shelter and transportation. skip payment on the credit cards, store loans or anything else. you need to focus on getting out of there.
visit your state/local agencies and see what you may qualify for.
Maria Never under any circumstance take a 'salary / pay day loan' they are loan sharks with up to 800% annual interest.

Here are a few ideas. You may be covered by workers compensation, is work offering any type of payment, unused vacation, etc. you might also be able to call the Unemplyment office. If needed, have you spoke with an Attorney?

i presume you are single and on your own, otherwise it would be dumb to remind you that you have a spouse to turn to.

ask from your parents, they will understand the situation better than you do. seek for financial assistance from them and pay them when you recover physically and financially.

if you have been working in your company for quite some time now, use the medical insurance to secure for your back injury treatment. also, try the salary loan, there are a lot of money-lending investors now, they can lend you some money equivalent to your monthly salary.

get well soon!

File a workman's comp claim by contacting your company's HR dept.

If they give you any headaches, contact the Workman's comp board in your state.

Good luck.
