i am getting a 1.8 C2D a AB9 abit motherboard corsair 2GB ram and i was wondering if a SLI Ultra ULT31848 X-Finity 600W Power Supply would work or do i need a better power supply also does it matter what video card u have if u want to overclock the ram and CPU

that psu would be great with that mobo. it doesnt matter if u overclock it or wot graphics card u use. 600w is way suffecent to cope with it. that mobo only needs 380watt. one word of warning though if u are going to overclock it make sure u get a heafty heatsink and plenty of fans. as i have seen too many people overclocking pcs and not getting proper cooling for the cpu and they end up frying the processor..

That will be plenty.

You might be pushing it if you have like 8 hard drives and an 8800GTX SLI setup. But the way you have it now, this will provide plenty of power.
