Honestly, my life's an open book so I'll tell (if asked) any friend nearly anything they want to know. But having spent 50 years on the planet, only 1 person from my childhood remains in close contact, because as you move around, you make new friends and a lot of the old 'fall by the wayside'.

To those who think they can use their significan other...can you tell them when you find another person sexy?
Depends on how deep of a thought you are talking about.
Nobody gets the deepest dirt. I've grown up with nobody to chat like that with.
BUT...I have made it my goal to be that type of person for anyone else if they need to talk. I've never been suprised by anyone and I can explain things to people who don't have a clue. That's how well I know how the mind works. There's even stuff that I don't even tell the wife. It's all part of the confidentiality and trust.

Three. Judging on what many others answered here, it seems to be a magic number :)
They are two boys and a girl, very different in character and background, and they don't know each other (I can't imagine how they would cope if they did). It's great, because I can always get three opinions from them, and that makes sort of 3D opinion :)
