I would think not because the $250 seems like an outrageous amount for everyone to pay for a party. But I would ask several others involved what they are doing also.

I will suggest a small but very special and awesome gift its called Silk Radiance Powder its literally crushed silk and it sets your makeup and leaves a radiant glow all day, its made for Brides you guys can get her that along with the high definition mascara in a nice little purse maybe through in the lip gloss wand the total will cost you maybe 100.00 dollars divide it among all of you it will be special and nice, besides I am sure you guys will get a bridesmaid gift at the rehearsal that's customary... if you would like to check out my suggestion go to bee royal products . com
Good Luck

I just got married and thought about this a lot. I did not expect my wedding party to also give a gift. Now most of them did but not it does not have to be large item. Just the fact that you are a part of the big day is enough.

Absolutely not. Especially if you did not decide as a group that you would be "sponsoring" the shower. Whether or not to foot the bill for a shower should be decided by all those who would be expected to pay.

That's a hard question to answer but my first thought is, no......your gift is the shower, which, I might add is a very generous amount.

Heavens, no. What is it, a live concert for the bride to be? She should be grateful you all spent that much money.
