I happen to be a teenage girl, and I find him quite...um...revolting. He's not talented or good-looking.

Why do people make that assumption?

SOME teen girls are voting for him. Take Ashley for example! I think that people who hate him think that teen girls are the only ones that could be voting for him because they think he's cute. EWWW! I'm a teen girl also and I think he's SO UGLY!!!!

I think "vote for the worst" and Howard Stern have a little to do with it. Don't underestimate the power of teenage girls, however.

people feel that way because he does appeal to a lot of young girls... I don't think it is only young girls but I do think they play a big part... just like you could say the the people who like rockers would vote for Gina... or for the b-bx crowd... might vote for Blake.

I don't think teenage girls are. I think girls that are about 8-12 are. And gay guys might be too.

Some teenage and pre-teen girls do seem to find him attractive, but don't worry. We do realize that not all teenage girls have bad taste.

i have never heard that but if it is true that is crazy! He is not talented at all, and he is only cute in a 4 year old kind of way.
I mean sure he is nice but he does not belong in a singing competition.

It's just a guess. However, my daughter heard/read that overseas workers in India who work for U.S. companies are using those phone lines to vote for him.
