He must be turning in his grave, if we had listened this country would be a pleasant place to live unlike the dive it is today

I also would like to apologise to Enoch. Enoch, you were a lousy politician and a perfect hypocrite, but then so were so many of you Tories so we can't really hold that against you, but I am really, really sorry that you turned out to be a rascist bigot; the only thing in the whole wide world that is lower than a female Tory Prime Minister. Hope it's not too hot for you down there.

His words have come back to bite us in the bum. If he were here today, he may have sent blair, brown, prescot and all his other cronies sailing down his rivers of blood.
Any other apology for things that happened a couple of centuries ago is a load of rubbish, besides we are putting up with enough of them living off us now-days.

I think we ought to start a petition on the gov.uk website to get the government to apologise for not listening to his advice all those years ago.
I bet Enoch is lying in his grave and saying "I told you so".

He was a very wise man but unfortunately, a political coward.
He never challenged the prime minister and when he was sent to oblivion (Ireland), he put his tail between his legs and went. Great men are made of sterner stuff.

NO NO NO. What is the matter with people? We go around invading countries, setting up our standards and values in countries with a culture totally alien to ours - then we encourage, yes encourage immigration to fill a genuine skills shortage. This is the reality.
The reality of people's lives in third world or developing world cultures is that of poverty, grinding unending poverty. We who have so much, so very much, why should we begrudge people who only want a better life for themselves and their children? It's a pure accident that we're born in countries that are rich, for the majority of people alive in the 21st century, life is hard, miserable and you normally watch your children die of something like a tummy bug or the measles.
We need to hang our heads in shame.

No. it's time to apologise FOR Enoch Powell. We unleashed him on the world, and despite that, we didn't ridicule him enough. Maybe if we had, the world would be a better place.
