(just trying to get into your heads so don't be rude)
Why do people feel like they need to be lower than a size two for example just so a man will like them, why do we care so much about what they think to the point we stop taking care of our health? is it really nessecary that we give that power over to men? We were created equal, so who feels like they have to do what it takes to keep a man and why??? Ask yourself are they really that worth it??

Think about it. before responding

I know I have low self esteem. That's why I think I need to be a certain size or weight before any man would want me. But, thinking I need to be a certain size or weight doesn't mean that I need to be a size 2 to get a man. I can be the size I am now and find someone tomorrow or I could lose weight and never find anyone.
I also agree that society and television are to blame for low self esteem. What I see as being plus size are beautiful women with perfect bodies and it makes me feel like I'm not as important as they are. I know I am as important but that's how I feel. I don't think that a woman should have to be a certain size to keep a man, because if he is going to find someone smaller, prettier, leave or cheat, he isn't worth my time or my starving myself to keep him. I really believe that beauty is on the inside, not the outside.

Society has completely screwed up a lot of womens self-image and self-esteem. It's the same old story that it's been for years... tv,magazine and advertising of any sort pick a demographic that makes up only like 2% of the population. They pick girls with no acne, perfect makeup,c-cup bra size and under 120 lbs. This creates an image that too many women "lust" after, if they can't attain it then it damages their self-esteem... If they have it then it gives them an over-inflated ego and makes them believe that their looks make them deservant of extra attention or money or favors. Both are damaging and it's long overdue for people to realize that "who they are" is way more important than "what they look like".

P.S. I like quotation marks and ellipses

the reason us women feel that way is because all you see on tv or in magazines is a bunch of skinny girls so we automatically feel like we have to look like that. we are letting the tv decide what the "ideal" women should look like so men will look at us i think as women we should stop looking in magazines and tv to see whats "hot" and what isn't any man who isn't more into our minds and attitudes than our bodies shouldn't be worth our time
