Your dreams can say a lot of who you are, but you have to know which ones to take seriously. If you have some crazy dream after a night of drinking or if you are taking medication then you can pretty much disregard whatever happened. Most dreams are your anxieties playing through.
You should write down your dreams, everything you can remember, right when you wake up. As the day goes on you will forget about your dream and the small details are the most important. So it is best to write it down in the morning. After a while you can look back at everything you have written and you should notice a pattern. Sometimes if you look into the meaning of these dreams they can help you with things going on in your life or feeling / fears you may have. I have many dream books and love to seek the meanings of all my dreams. I am a strong believer that our dreams can say a lot about who we are and what we want or don't want, but not so much predict the future.

Did you know?
One third of our lives are spent sleeping.
In your lifetime you will spend about six years of it dreaming. That is more than 2100 days spent in a different world.
Everybody dreams. Just because you don’t remember your dreams it does not mean that you didn’t dream
We dream an average of one or two hours every night and we often have four to seven dreams in one night
Five minutes after the end of a dream, half the content is forgotten. After ten minutes, 99 per cent is lost.
If you are snoring then you cannot be dreaming
The word dream stems from the middle English word, ‘dreme’ which means joy and music
Men tend to dream more about other men, while women dream equally about men and women
Dreamers who are awakened right after REM sleep are able to recall their dreams more vividly than those who slept through the night.
Research has shown that during REM sleep men experience erections and women experience vaginal blood flow no matter what the content of the dream. In fact, ‘wet dreams’ may not coincide with overtly sexual content.
People who give up smoking have longer and more intense dreams
Toddlers do not dream about themselves. They don’t appear in their own dreams until the age of three or four
Here is a cool site to check out, but it has an annoying ad on it that buzzes so you may want to turn down your volume before going there!

Sure! I think God and angels send messages through our dreams sometimes. Then there are nightmares that sometimes capture our insecurities or are sometimes just plan unreal. I believe in premonitions and signs and that we have them as warnings or confirmations of what you already suspected but you have to know when to tell the difference because some of our dreams are just plain nonsense. I can dream some funky stuff but at the same time, i did dream that my baby died when he was 3 weeks old almost exactly the way he did die when he was 19 months old. That's an eary feeling but I've never dreamed anything like that since. (Thank God!)

No, I don't believe in that. Dreams are just dreams, if they were trying to tell me what's going to happen, then according to what I dreamed of last night, I guess I'm going to be attacked by giant polar bears with three heads.

I think some dreams can maybe warn you of what the future will bring, especially if you have deja vu, dreaming of something and then it happening in real life- that happens to me a lot. .

It seems a little far fetched for a dream to give one insight into the future.
However I believe that dreams do have certain meaning. They express our deepest secrets, fears, and accomplishments along with our emotions.

Dreams can tell you a lot, but you have to study them consistently over an extended period of time to understand what your own dream symbols are.
