I am from Nepal.... i have lived in nepal for 17 years and moved last year to US. i can help you out :) there are lot of things to describe about nepal that can make your research paper (i believe) standout. eg: birth of lord buddha, only hindu kingdom, land of living goddess, out of top 10 highest peak in the world 8 are in nepal and many more...

reliable info on Nepal are very hard to find in web...however recently we have some official web which provide brief infos.

the only thing i know of is lonley planet and it works if you are traveling there, but I dont know about how many "works" it has in it.
