Couples please answer this?

Question

What percentage of the time do you argue? Like overall.

argue i would say about 5% of the time but they are like 15 minute little spats and we usually end up laughing at something one of us says and then its over and uaually about really silly things and we have been married 11 years as for a huge big fight that last all day i would say maybe 2 times a year and then the next morning we are sorry if not right before we go to bed! so i hope that means we do pretty good!

1% but were newlyweds going on 12 yrs.

We don't argue at best we intense discussions, we talk all the time we love each other enough not to want to hurt each other. We've went to bed with unresolved issues maybe 4-5 times.
When we have said something wrong we apologize immediately for it. I one time in an intense discussion told my wife she didn't know what she was talking about and was dumb as a box of rocks. I paid for that one for years, 1. I hurt her 2. It was said with any thought. 3. She had special holidays for a longgggggggg time.
We now joke about it, but I knew I was wrong when I said it,

The best way to put it is we respect each other, our strengths and weaknesses.

Is this argue or fight? They are two different things. If it's fight I would say not much at all only maybe once a year or never, if it's argue like discussing things that you don't agree on well that could be any where between every day to once a week.....There is nothing wrong with disagreeing, although sometimes you have to agree to disagree.... :)

Arguing makes me think of a heated exchange. Like another word for a fight, except without being physical. If this is what you mean then my answer is less then 1%.

Now if you want to know how many times we have discussions about disagreements... I would say about 10%. They usually don't last long, because we don't allow ourselves to become heated and if we don't agree with each we agree to disagree.

Not very often in my current relationship. Maybe a few times a year. I've been in relationships with the "wrong" people before though and we fought almost daily. That was a real waste of my time (and his). When you're with the right person and the timing is right and you're at a good point in your life, etc., your relationship should be fairly easy and low-maintenance. It shoudln't be a lot of work (although it DOES take some work).

Like 2% of the time...we rarely fight...my husband is so laid back and quiet. It is very hard to make him mad or upset. Our fights never last more than 10 min. anyway. Put it this way, we've been married for over 1 yr. and there is only 2 fights that were big during that one year. We always slept in the same bed (we never made each other sleep on the couch or anything like that) and we got over it in like 30 min.

Oh geez, let's see, I don't have a percentage, but it seems like we argue when his kids are visiting more than any other time. So, four days out of 30 days, is .... either 13% or 7.5%. I'm no good at math!

Maybe 5% of the time. I remember a class I took in college mentioned that "the happiest couples report fighting once a week." It's normal and if done right, it promotes good communication. My husband and I have disagreements, but our conflict resolution is pretty good. We rarely raise our voices, and we never name call. We only have knock down drag outs maybe once a month, if that!

lived together for 8 years married for just over a year now...
we hardly ever argue... in the 9 years maybe 2-3 stupid arguments over stupid stuff that we were over in a matter of minutes.

so I'd say 1% or less.
