ok so i have the sims 2 and the sims 2 open for business but i really need a car how do you get one? help fast thanks

You need Nightlife. I love it.

The cars come with Sims 2 Nightlife. The only way to get them is to have that particular expansion pack. For more info I suggest you check out the official www.sims2.ea.com site.
There are a lot of nice features to having a car such as if the car pool or bus is missed; driving yourself to work, kids to school, not having to wait for a cab for transp to community lots, & sitting in the car with another sim (acts like sitting on the sofa), listening to music, & like the elevators & dressing rooms provides another location for romance.
You can also sell the cars in the OFB expansion. That's neat too.
But it can be a hassle making the space on your lot sometimes for the driveway (it takes up a LOT of space).
Before you buy you might want to do a search on the sims2 website's bbs and see other player's posts about nightlife and its pros & cons, then decide if having a car for your sim is still what you want to do.

To get a car you must have Sims Nightlife. The only car you have is when you go to work/school in your carpool. So just get Nightlife and you'll have your car, but there is only like 5 choices of cars. So it's not really worth it if you want just the cars, but it's pretty cool going to the clubs but it takes a while to load everything.

Nighlife will give you the possibility to have cars and then you can download nicer cars. You can go to MTS2 and do a search on cars and you will see what you can get. Nightlife is worth it.

omg I can't imagine how it would be to play without the exp episodes yes you need nightlife to get a car!
I just got the seasons and I'm telling you...my bf is breaking up with me any minute..even the dog is mad at me

I think it was in the Misc category with the "..." in the items you can buy. There are several cars, including a cute little pick up truck and an excessively flashy sports car.

like nightlife college etc.
u can get these at ur local book stores EB games. and Ebay
