I was at a party with some Native Americans in Wyoming. After 12 beers they began hugging the TV and talking to imaginary people. Is there an explanation for this???

Yes, it's perfectly normal. It's called doing stupid **** when you're drunk. For more evidence, watch a local fraternity.

Not sure about native Americans in Wyoming. Normal drunks usually hug the porcelain throne, at least for a while, anyway.

Haha, it sounds like intoxication was the explanation.
I don't think it's a ritual to get drunk and hug your TV, if that's what you are asking.
I think after 12 beers you do anything you can think of.

I have heard that Native Americans are pre-disposed to consumption of large amounts of whiskey and alcoholism. However, it isnt proper to make such vast generalizations, based on observation. I have in my experience, met a few Native Americans myself, all of which were heavy drinkers. When a person, any person consumes large amounts of alcohol, liquor and whiskey especially, they may behave in this manner. It is also more likely for a spirtual and religous person to " communicate " with their spiritual roots to speak to themselves or show patterns of woirship in objects. Most natives are spiritual and heavy drinkers, so......... These facts may be the cause of such behavior.

Its probably normal with 12 beers, but without beer, the person probably needs some SERIOUS help.

Yes it is very normal to do this; in fact if you put the TV on playboy channel you will do more to it then just hugging.

Those Indians don't hold their liquor very well! But, that's what makes them so much fun! Wait till they start stripping' to the commercial music!
