I consider cheating to be a betrayal of the heart rather than just physical contact. If I am kissing another person, then I am cheating. I think perhaps there are levels of cheating and men seem to focus more on the actual sex whereas women would be more upset about the intimacy.

To me, cheating is of course the act of having intercourse with someone other than your mate, but cheating for me personally, is when a spouse or significant other engages in any type of desire for another person under any circumstances. I know some people are going to say I am old fashion, or just plain old hopeless if I think that a guy is not going to think of being with another person, but for "me", it is in a way. I know a guy is going to be a guy and have fantasies. I don't have anything against that, but when you go to strip clubs, or go to places where fantasies an inch away from becoming realities, it is cheating.

Cheating can be physical and emotional. Physical being the obvious, kissing all the way to full on intercourse. Then there's emotional, when you get emotionally involved with another person that is not your significant other. This could be meeting someone online, dating someone else, being more then friends with someone, intense flirting....cheating comes in all shapes and sizes, but there are definitely different conditions.

Cheating is defined by every one differently. What one considers cheating may not be by another.
But in my view cheating is: any sexual activity out side the relationship of your mate. This goes for gf an bf as well as spouses.
Cheating is viewing porn, cyber sex, flirting, dating, sleeping around. In my book it is all considered adultery. Ephesians 5:3-4

I consider it to be either of the following:

1) any physical affection shown to someone who is not the person's spouse, including holding hands or kissing;

2) any interaction of a very intimate and/or sexual nature, whether it involves physical contact or not, including phone sex.

Since I feel sure some people are going to say it is, allow me here to state that I do not believe that viewing porn is cheating.

Kissing, sleeping together, doing other sexual stuff....Its all considered cheating...If you had a boyfriend would you want them to kiss, hug, mess around with another girl behind your back?...Probably not...So pretty much everything is cheating!! be faithful, or get out of the relationship!

A partner interacting in any form or fashion with someone of the opposite sex besides their spouse. This could include intimate conversations, im'ing, texting, kissing, sex, etc. Physical or emotional affairs are now considered cheating.

Any contact that means more then just friends... holding hands, kissing, sex, and more.

If you have feelings for the person and keep a relationship going with them, when you have feelings of sincere love. I think that is cheating to.

Fantasizing about someone for one night is one thing, but anything more then that is cheating in my books.

There are two types of cheating. Physical cheating - any part of your body touches someone other then your partner. Emotional cheating - where you go to someone else not your partner to have your emotional needs meet.
