I would like to make sets of cards for friends as gifts. Any websites out there that give good directions? I have made plain white ones with stickers. Any other suggestions?

You can often find good books in your local library - check in the craft section. If you find an especially good book you'd like to keep, you can purchase a copy on half.com for your own reference.

Rubber stamping is a quick and easy way to decorate cards:

This site has great free projects:

Remember with free projects to print them out and save them in a binder if you want to keep the directions. There's nothing more disappointing than going back to a free project and finding out it's been removed because it was a limited time offer.

Pressed flowers.
Paper flowers (sold at scrapbook stores) held on with a brad.
If you have a light box, you could put their monogram on the top of each card.
Rub ons.
