the other says "army and navy" it looks like a penny. there is no dates. can anyone help id this small coin?

You have what is known as a "token".
Tokens were issued during the 19th Century for a wide variety of purposes. Yours was probably made to raise funds to equip a troop of militia from a town or a State.
People who purchased these would often drill them and wear them on a chain, or on a watch fob.
They were made in relatively large numbers, but relatively few have survived. To a collector of political Americana, your token would be worth $30 to $125, depending on condition and if the issue location could be determined.
