I have heard of relationships where men discipline their wives to get them to be "submissive" and "obedient", usually this is done by spanking, line writing, extra chores, etc. My husband has brought it up a couple of times lately; he says he needs my consent, however, to be in such a relationship.
I don't really know if I want to be spanked! If this topic offends you in any way, I apologize. Please do not answer my question if this offends you, simply exit it. I'd just like some insight. Thank you.

Perhaps I might benefit from a good spanking now and then...I just can't imagine pain in my bottom like being a little girl...

Yes...I am in what's called a Christian Domestic Discipline marriage. My husband has the authority to spank me when I misbehave, but it happens rarely...maybe once or twice a year. It has truly saved our marriage, and it has put the spark back into the marriage. I don't like to be spanked, but I do love having a husband who exercises his authority. He has that edge I find irresistable. There are lots of domestic discipline Yahoo Groups. If you are interested in where to find them, email me privately. You can't find many of them with a regular Yahoo search.

It sounds as though you're curious enough about being spanked to enjoy an erotic spanking and maybe get turned on by it. But what your husband's proposing is something rather different - a DD (Domestic Discipline) relationship where the husband disciplines the wife by spanking her. I know couples who practise this, and it seems to work well for them. But it certainly doesn't suit everybody, and you should think hard about whether you want to cede that degree of control to him.

A real Master / Slave relationship pushes the outside of the envelope, darlin' and can be dangerous. If he wants to spank you as foreplay, and it is done without damage it can be quite a turn-on for both of you. Get more info. Have him go to a dirty book/magazine store and get pics of what he means. There's quite a wide diversification when you talk about this stuff. If it does NOT turn you on, do NOT do it just to make him happy. If you're just a little shy, go with the flow. Set ground rules. If it hurts you he has to know when to stop.

Did you know that when your body is in the sexual state, things don't hurt as they normally would? This is true of spanking. If done properly, and without meanness, it can be pleasurable just before and during orgas1m. As for the other stuff, there is no way in hell my husband will get me to be submissive unless we are having sex. By the way, what is line writing?

I think this is a bunch of crap...sounds like 'The Submissive Wife'. Spanking is cool in the bedroom, if you both like it...as is domination or submission. However, that is quite a bit different from your husband making you write lines because you didn't finish the laundry.

I would recommend saving these games for the bedroom and live your marriage like two equal adults.

Daph, Oh please give it a try. It can be so wonderful and loving at the same time. Actually, Philip K, who answered you below helped me into trying it out with my husband, kind of like a mentor. E-mail him or me if you prefer. My husb, does not dominate me all the time, just during the spanking times and it isn't always very hard, but is very erotic and has improved our sex life like you wouldn't believe. Just try it out and you will know if it is for you. Good luck!

How would you benefit from a spanking (unless it is for fun in the bedroom)? Is this question for real? You are not a child and should not be treated like one. What is he going to make you write "I will not shop for shoes at Nordstrom" on the board 10 times?! It sounds like he is the one that needs punishment (maybe a kick in the *ss - right out the door).

Spanking is fun during sex but not as a discipline measure. That's for children.

Me and the old lady like to tie each other up sometimes spanking is involved sometimes not. Try it you may enjoy it as long as it doesn't get too rough.
