How do you put music on an ipod nano? i need help fast?

i keep trying to figure out how to put songs on my ipod. i imported all of my songs to the itunes library and there all in a music file as well. i keep pressing "sync" but i wont work. someone help me

make sure that your ipod is plugged into your computer with a cord that should come with the ipod. then it should sync. if this doesn't help try going to http://www.apple.com/ itunes/
