the feeling an emotion. So much of our world has become so shallow. it is nice to see the feeling and emotion in words.

I like the way poetry distills images and emotions into words and how it can make the soul of the poet translucent. It is an entirely different medium than prose writing because it does not always have to make complete sense. Poetry allows writers greater freedom to experiment in ways that they would not be able to in other forms of writing and it offers readers constant new way of reading and seeing the world.

I'm a visual person and poetry is the only type of literature that (if done right , not in a pretentious E.E. Cummings kinda way) is able to create abstract concepts while translating into vivid mental images.

I love how it can be interpreted into different meanings and how when it's read it's really ironic how common words can touch your soul. It's art. I love poetry.

It can be raw and pretty at the same time. it can be smart an require no thought. in other words it can have a duality which make it very good.
