These are the 5 major characters from the beginning of the series:
Naruto: main character, 12yr old ninja who dreams of being the next Hokakge. He harbors a demon tailed beast, Kyubi within. He's loud, short tempered, short attention span but is determined & courages.
Iruka-sensei: Naruto's first teacher, first person to accept Naruto for who he is. He's close & suportive to him.
Sakura, Haruno: has exceptional skill at harnessing her chakra properly, has deep feelings for Sasuke. She's lively, smart & quick on her feet.
Sasuke, Uchiha: from Uchiha Chan which was destroyed by his elder brother Itachi, Sasuke vows revenge. He's serious, poker faced expression, but has a strong sence of loyalty & protection for his team.
Kakkashi-sensei: teacher & leader of sqad7- Naruto, Sakura & Sasuke. He's very calm, cool headed, collected & has a very bad sence of time. A teamate of his died in the past & Kakkashi lost his left eye, he was given the eye of his teamate who was an Uchiha. Now Kakkashi uses his Sharingan in memory of his former friend.
