I was listening to some girls talking on the bus on the way home and I counted how many times one of them said the word "like" for two blocks. I counted 19 likes!!!
Is that like, too much?

Like Oh my gawd! Like, I`m so like happy I don`t like have a like teenaged like daughter. I would like SOOOO be in like prison for like choking her the first like time she like said "Whatever" to me. Like.

People say like and um way to much. Kids need to be taught young that it really isn't necessary. Most of the teens use it today so much because of the parents that grew up at the start of "mall talk" a lot of parents use it more than they would think, kids caught on and it has just spread.

It's annoying and I caught my 7 year old daughter saying that way too often and inmediatly told: Okay, now don't say it again please!!
How about the expression: "Oh my god?"

LOL my mom's always on me for saying "like". thankfully i don't say it that often.... my friends are much worse.
