anyone know what R.A.B. means in the harry potter six book???

R.A.B. is the initials of the person who took Salazar Slytherin's locket and destroyed it before Harry and Dumbledore could get to it.
R.A.B. had to be someone who was against Voldemort, because he destroyed the Horcrux so that one day Voldemort will be mortal and someone will be able to kill him.
The closest person to match the initials R.A.B. is Regulus (middle name unknown) Black, Sirius Black's brother. However, Regulus was a Death Eater and apparently killed, so it might not be him.
I guess we'll find out in the seventh book!!!

Most people are guessing Regulus Black, Sirius' brother, because there was a locket in the Black house when the Order of the Phoenix was cleaning.

No one (expect for JK Rowling) really knows. But a lot of people think it is Regulus Black because it was said he was a death eater so he would know about the horcruxes and also because sirius said he died on a mission.

Well we cant really know until the 7th book. It might be an unknown character. I have heard somewhere that it might be Sirius's brother which would be a good guess.

JK ROWLING CONFIRMED it was REGULUS BLACK. about a few months ago to the brazillian translator. go to mugglenet.com and look around, or in the news archive. Its true. Can't wait for book 7.

I really think that it's Sirius's brother, but J.K Rowling can be pretty unpredictable so I don't know...

It is rumored to be Siruius's Grand Father and former headmaster of Hogwarts. I can't remember how to spell his first name, but if you've read the books you know who I'm thinking of.
