I enjoy wearing hose if the occasion calls for it. Itsnot a question about comfort, rather about how I want to appear. if I want to appear businesslike I wear stiletto heel pumps, ultra sheer nude hose. Fun dressy or casual wear open toed stiletto sandals or wedges no hose, and my pretty little toes slathered in golden toe rings. formal I wear stiletto sandals, 5 denier hose (extremely sheer!) and a diamond tennis bracelet around one of my ankles. I'm more comfortable without hose, but i feel very elegant and more glamorous with hose.

I won't say that I love them but I don't hate them either. When it's cold outside, I have no problem wearing them.
My hubby loves the sheer to the waist crotchless nylons so in the winter when we go out on date nights, I wear them alot.
He does say that it gives your legs a look that he enjoys.
