Oh my goodness! I haven't heard that story in over 50 yrs. I just had to check the answers to see how it ended, because I forgot. But I think the answer that said the big goat butted the troll is right. Too bad there isn't a big goat on Yahoo to butt off the trolls on here.

The biggest goat knocks the troll off the bridge. From then on, the three Billy Goats Gruff can safely cross the bridge to eat grass.

The biggest goat comes along and butts the troll into the river. The three goats are brothers, and the oldest brother finally takes care of the problem.

the 3rd billy goat gruff the biggest one pummels the troll over the bridge and all three brothers are grazing hapily ever after on the greener side!!!!!

the biggest goat beats/hurts/kills the troll in the end...there are different versions of what happens to the troll...but the big goat wins...
